Omkar Speciality Chemicals Ltd

We are situated at B-34 in the MIDC area of Badlapur. This is where Omkar Speciality Chemicals Ltd has its setup. Being in an MIDC zone means we are surrounded by other factories and industrial units. It’s a bit far out from the main city, but it’s where this kind of work happens. The air usually has that industrial smell to it. Our plot, B-34, has been our home for quite a while now. We have the production area and a small section for the office work. It’s not the most glamorous place to spend your day. There is often a lot of noise from the neighboring units and trucks. We have a small gate at the front and a bit of space for loading and unloading. The roads in the MIDC can be a bit bumpy, especially after the monsoon rain hits. We’ve grown used to the routine of coming out here every morning. Most of the staff lives in the nearby towns. We don't have a fancy lunchroom; we usually just sit together and eat what we brought from home. It's a very practical way of living and working. We don't spend much time on things that don't matter. We just focus on the chemical side of things and making sure everything runs okay. It’s a lot of steady work. Badlapur is a growing area, but this industrial part stays pretty much focused on the jobs at hand.
