You can find Omkar Prints Service at 22/A in the Wadia Building Compound, which is part of the Gandhi Nagar Society in Dadar West. It’s a quiet little corner compared to the main roads of Dadar. We’ve got our printing machines set up here, and they’re usually running all day long. The smell of ink is pretty strong when you walk in, but we like it. We do all sorts of printing jobs for people in the neighborhood. It’s not a high-end studio, just a workshop where we get things printed on paper or cardstock. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and a few computers for setting up the files before they go to the press. Sometimes a machine jams and we have to spend an hour fixing it, but that’s just part of the job. Dadar West is a good place to be because there are always people needing something done. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and tell us what you need. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We just try to get the colors right and the lines straight. It’s a simple business run by people who live nearby. We like being in the Wadia Building Compound because it feels like a little community away from the traffic. We just keep our heads down and keep the printers moving as fast as we can.
