We are based in Room No 201 of the Sai Kiran Apartment in Chembur. Our building is on the Novino Tarasali Road, right above the Central Bank of India. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a container company because it’s an apartment building, but it works well for us. We have a few rooms set up as offices where we manage all the logistics and paperwork for the containers. You can hear the bank customers coming and going downstairs and the traffic on the main road is constant. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with drivers and checking on shipment statuses. The desks are usually covered in logs and schedules, and there’s always a pot of coffee or tea going somewhere. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing papers. The view from the windows shows the busy Chembur streets, which helps us keep an eye on the local traffic situation. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just a small nameplate, so people usually look for the bank first to find our entrance. It’s a quiet enough place once you get inside, away from the dust of the road. We’ve been in this apartment for a while now and it has become a very comfortable place for us to handle our daily business. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the paperwork as it comes in.
