Om Carrying Corporation

Our office is located at 57/59 Masjid Bunder Road, specifically in Sterling Chambers on the 3rd floor. If you know the area, you know how packed Karve Road gets. It is a struggle just to walk down the street sometimes with all the carts and people moving goods. Being on the 3rd floor gives us a little bit of a break from the noise of the street, but not much. We have been doing this carrying work for a long time. The office is full of old ledgers and files because we still like to keep physical records of everything. It is a lot of climbing up and down the stairs throughout the day since the lift isn't always reliable. Most of our work involves coordinating transport across the city. It is a lot of shouting into phones and writing down addresses on scraps of paper. We don't have any fancy furniture, just some old desks and chairs that have been here since we opened. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually when we take a short break. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of old paper and city dust. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure packages get from one point to another. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when the traffic is really bad and everything runs behind.
