Om Bharat Transport

We are located on the ground floor of the Amit Dairy Building in Malad West. Being near the dairy makes it easy for people to find us, though the area can get a bit crowded with the trucks coming and going. Om Bharat Transport is basically me and a few others handling the daily logistics of moving stuff from one point to another. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on drivers to see where they are on the road. Usually, the office is a bit of a mess with papers and logbooks everywhere. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign outside. People mostly know us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. If someone needs a load moved, they just walk in and ask. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the traffic in Mumbai makes everything late, and we have to spend the whole afternoon explaining that to customers. It’s part of the job. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know the shortcuts and the trouble spots on the highway. We handle local deliveries mostly, but sometimes we take on bigger trips if the truck is available. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially when a shipment is delayed. We just keep moving. There's always something to load or unload. It's a busy life here in Malad. We have a small desk for guests but usually, people just stand and talk.
