Odicee Carriers (P) Ltd.

You can find Odicee Carriers (P) Ltd. over at Surat Sadan, in office 408. We are right on Sampige Road. Being so close to Musjid Bunder Station means it's always a bit of a scramble to get into the office in the morning through the crowds. The crowds are something else entirely. We handle cargo and moving things from one place to another. It's a lot of logistics and checking on timings. Our office is small and filled with folders and files. There’s a masjid nearby, so we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which is a nice constant rhythm for us. We’ve been in this building for many years. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with work to worry about how it looks. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers and clients across the city. It’s a lot of asking where the truck is now or when it will arrive at the destination. We have a small window that looks out towards the station area. It’s a good view of the total chaos below on the street. We drink a lot of hot chai to keep our energy up. Everyone here knows their job inside and out. We don’t have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. Just a bunch of us making sure shipments get where they need to go. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes every day. It's not always easy but we get by.
