Occasion Banquet is situated at G 13/C in Ghatkopar West H O. We are on the ground floor, which is really handy for anyone who has to move a lot of stuff in and out for an event. The 400086 area is a very local, bustling part of Mumbai. We mostly cater to the families living around here who need a place for their celebrations. It’s not a huge, glamorous hall, but it’s a good, honest space for a party. We spend a lot of our time just managing the basics like the air conditioning and the lighting. Because we are on the ground floor, we get a lot of people just walking by and peeking in. We don't have a marketing budget or a team of planners. It’s just us answering the phone and showing the hall to neighbors. A lot of the work is just physical labor—setting up tables, sweeping after a party, and making sure the washrooms are clean. It’s the kind of business where you’re always on your feet. We have been here for a while and we know the local vendors and caterers who work in this neighborhood. We don't try to sound like a big corporate venue. We are just a local banquet hall where people can get together for a few hours. It’s a simple operation and we just take it one event at a time.
