Oberoi International School

Starting from Goregaon East is a bit of a trip for some of us, but being right here in Oberoi Garden City makes it a lot easier once you actually get off the Western Express Highway. We spend most of our mornings watching the traffic pile up near Oberoi Mall while we get the rooms ready for the day. This place isn't some fancy glass tower you see in movies, it’s just where we work and where the kids spend their time. Sometimes the hallways get a bit loud, especially when the bell rings and everyone is rushing to get to their next spot. We’ve got desks, chairs, and some boards that need wiping down every evening. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, and honestly, some days are smoother than others. The air conditioning sometimes hums a bit too loud in the back office, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just focus on making sure the lights are on and the schedule is being followed. People ask if it’s stressful being so close to the highway and the mall, and yeah, the noise filters in sometimes, but it’s just part of being in this part of Mumbai. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk, we just open the gates, do the lessons, and then head home when the sun starts going down. We make sure the files are put away and the doors are locked up tight before we leave. It’s a practical setup for everyone involved here.
