Our office is over at D/101 in the Sameer building. This is in the Seven Bungalows area of Andheri West. If you know Mumbai 400053, then you know it is a very lively and loud neighborhood. This isn't the actual hotel or a resort; it is just an office space where we handle things for Oberoi Hotels and Resorts India. The building itself is a standard residential and commercial mix that you find all over the city. We have got a few rooms that we have turned into our workspaces. It is not a very big office, and it feels quite lived-in. There are usually a few of us working on various tasks at any given time during the day. We don't have a big neon sign out front or anything like that. It is more of a functional spot for the staff to get things done. Andheri West is always moving and shaking, so there is plenty of noise coming in from the street outside. We just do our work and try to keep all the files in the right order. It is a very local feel for such a big company name. You wouldn't really think this is where some of the planning happens if you just walked by on the sidewalk. We use the space we have to the best of our ability. Sometimes the power goes out, but we manage to keep going. It is just a plain office in a regular Mumbai building.
