Nymph Clothing

Nymph Clothing is situated in the Kasturchand Mill Estate, units 71 and 73, on Bhavani Shankar Road in Dadar West. Being in an old mill estate means the ceilings are very high and the walls are thick. It stays relatively cool inside, which is a real blessing in the Mumbai heat. We’ve been here for years, and the estate has changed quite a bit around us over time. There are a lot of other small businesses nearby, so there is always a sense of hustle and bustle in the corridors and on the stairs. We do a lot of clothing work, from sorting things out to making minor repairs. The space is filled with the smell of new fabric and a bit of machine oil. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to browse. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at the tables or checking the inventory on the shelves. Dadar West is a very busy place, and getting here can be a bit of a struggle with the traffic on Bhavani Shankar Road. But once you’re inside the estate, it feels like its own little world. We have a small radio that plays the local stations while we work. It keeps the energy up during the long afternoons. Our staff has been steady for a long time, so we’re more like friends than coworkers at this point. We don’t have big goals of becoming some global brand. We just want to keep the shop running.
