Our office is located at 50 Surat Street, inside a building called Fancy Chambers. It’s right in the middle of a very busy commercial area where trucks are always loading and unloading. Nvr Logistics Pvt Ltd operates out of this space, and most of the time the office is filled with the sound of printers and people talking on their mobiles. There are boxes stacked in the corners and piles of manifests on every desk. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, but we know where everything is. Fancy Chambers is an older building, so the elevator is a bit slow and the hallways are narrow. We spend most of our day tracking shipments or calling drivers to see where they are on the highway. It’s stressful work sometimes, especially when a delivery is running late or a truck breaks down somewhere. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms or anything like that. We just have our desks and a small area where we can make some coffee. The windows look out onto Surat Street, and we can see the constant stream of traffic all day long. We’ve been here for a good number of years now, and the routine hasn't changed much. It’s just about getting things from one place to another without too much trouble. We just stay busy with the paperwork and the phone calls until it's time to go home.
