You can find us at Mehta Mahal, in office number 201. We are right on 15th Mathew Road, which is directly across from the Roxy Cinema in the Opera House area. This part of Mumbai is always humming with people moving back and forth, mostly all involved in the same trade we are. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular workplace with some desks and the tools we need for sorting through diamonds. The building itself is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history in this city. Sometimes the lift takes a while to arrive, so we just end up taking the stairs to the second floor to save time. It is a very busy street outside with vendors and traffic, but once you step inside, it gets a lot quieter. We have a small crew and we mostly just stick to our routine every day. There is always a lot of sorting and checking to do, which requires a bit of patience and decent eyesight. We have been here long enough that we know most of the faces in the hallway. It is a practical way to spend the day, just handling the stones and making sure the records are kept straight. We don't go in for anything fancy or complicated. It is just a straightforward diamond office where we get our work done and head home when the day is over.
