Nokia Priority

Our shop at Santacruz West 1 is officially called Nokia Priority but it feels more like a local hangout for people who need help with their phones. We have been here for a while and the sign outside is a little faded from the sun but everyone knows where we are. Inside we have the latest models on display but honestly most people come in because they forgot their password or dropped their phone in water. We have a small workbench in the back where we try to bring those phones back to life. It is not a shiny corporate store where everything is perfect. There are usually some boxes from the latest shipment sitting in the corner because we haven't had time to move them yet. The floor gets a bit muddy when it rains in Santacruz but we just sweep it out when things quiet down. I like talking to the older customers who are just getting their first smartphone and need someone to show them how to use the camera. We don't use any complicated jargon or try to act like tech experts. We are just here to sell phones and help fix them when they break. The AC works most of the time which is good because it gets really warm in the afternoons. It is just a small place and we like it that way because we know everyone.
