Nmims College

Nmims College is located on V. L. Mehta Road in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Being in this part of the city means there is constant movement and noise from the traffic and the students walking to the nearby station. The building is quite large and has several sections, but it always feels a bit crowded because so many people are coming and going all day long. The hallways are wide but they get filled with students sitting on the floor or leaning against the walls while they wait for their next lecture. We have some elevators, but they are usually slow or full, so most people just take the stairs. The classrooms are functional with standard seating and projectors that sometimes need a bit of a kick to start working. In the monsoon, the whole place smells a bit like damp rain and wet umbrellas, which is just part of living in Mumbai. The staff is always busy with a lot of paperwork and managing the schedules for different courses. There is no real quiet spot here, as you can always hear the sound of the city or people talking in the corridors. It’s a fast-paced environment and we just try to keep up with everything that needs to be done. We don't have a lot of frills, just the essentials for the students to get through their degrees. It is just a busy place where people come to get their work finished.
