Nmims College Of Pharmacy is situated on V L Mehta Road in Vile Parle West. Being in Mumbai, the area is always moving and there is a lot of noise from the traffic outside. The college is part of a larger campus, but our focus is strictly on the pharmacy side of things. Inside, you’ll find a lot of labs with glass bottles, scales, and various bits of equipment. It smells a bit like chemicals sometimes, which is expected in a place like this. The students are usually wearing their white lab coats and carrying heavy bags full of textbooks. We have several floors of classrooms and some of them can get quite crowded when there’s a big lecture going on. The hallways are often filled with people rushing between their practical sessions and the library. We spend a lot of time making sure the lab equipment is working and that there are enough supplies for the week’s experiments. Vile Parle is a busy neighborhood, so there are plenty of spots nearby where students grab a quick snack during their breaks. The office stays busy with all the paperwork for the pharmacy council and student records. It’s not a quiet, sleepy campus; it feels more like a workplace where everyone has something to do. We just keep things moving along as best as we can every single day.
