S V Road is one of those places that never seems to go quiet, so there’s a constant backdrop of traffic noise outside our door. The interior of our place is quite functional. We have shelves filled with different containers and bags of materials. It has that specific smell of an industrial office, which is something you just get used to after a while. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with suppliers or checking on the logistics of getting orders out to our clients. We’ve been at this 23 L address for a good number of years now. It’s a practical setup with a few desks and a lot of storage space for our inventory. We don’t have any flashy displays or promotional posters on the walls. It’s more about making sure the right chemicals get to the right people at the right time. Our team is small, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether that's handling paperwork or checking the stock levels. It’s steady, quiet work in the middle of a very busy part of Mumbai. We just keep our heads down and get on with it.
