Our office, Nirmalkumar & Company, is located at No. 301-A in Dharam Palace on Hughes Road. We are situated in the Fort area, which has always been a hub for business and trade in the city. The building itself, Dharam Palace, is a well-known spot on Hughes Road, and being on the 100/103 block puts us right in the center of things. We have been operating from this third-floor space for quite a while now. It is more of a professional setting than a retail store, so things are usually a bit quieter here than on the street. We handle a lot of paperwork and meetings throughout the day. The walk from the entrance up to 301-A is something we do every morning, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. Fort is a busy district with a lot of history, and working out of an older building like this feels right for the kind of work we do. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just our desks, some filing cabinets, and the things we need to get through the day's tasks. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years. It is a very grounded place to work. We just show up, do our jobs, and deal with whatever comes across our desks. It’s a practical office for a practical company, and we like the convenience of being on Hughes Road.
