We've been at 301/A for a long time now, right near the old Sukhsagar Operahouse in Grant Road. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic outside and the shutters going up. It’s a busy spot, and the office usually feels a bit crowded with all the files and folders we keep around. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a breather from whatever work is piled on the desks. Grant Road has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. People come in and out, asking for this or that, and we just try to get through the day’s tasks. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office with desks that have seen better days and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise if you turn it up too high. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which isn’t great in the summer heat. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there to talk to you. We mostly just focus on getting the paperwork sorted and making sure things are where they should be. It gets pretty loud outside during peak hours, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and it feels like a small community here.
