You can find us at 4 Eagle Market on 90 Feet Road in Andheri East. We are right opposite Vijay Laxmi Transport, so there are always tempos and trucks moving around this street. Nilesh Express Tempo Service is basically a small desk and a bunch of keys. We spend our day managing the small tempos that move furniture or boxes for people shifting houses or shops. The 90 Feet Road is always a nightmare with traffic, so we spend half our time telling customers why the driver is late. It’s a tiring job because things happen at all hours. Sometimes a call comes in at six in the morning because someone needs to move their stall, and other times we are working late into the night. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to sit while we wait for the next job to come in. We have a lot of regular drivers who have been with us for years, and we all just try to get through the day's list. It’s mostly about knowing the shortcuts through Andheri to avoid the main road jams. We don't use any fancy apps or anything, just a notebook and a mobile phone. It is honest work, even if it means getting your hands dirty helping a driver load a heavy cupboard now and then. We just keep the vehicles running and the people moving their stuff where it needs to go.
