Niki Mehta

Based over in Malad West, at number 41621. It's a busy area, always a lot going on in this part of Mumbai. I’ve been working from here for quite a while. It’s just a standard setup, nothing too fancy. I have my workspace and I get things done. Some days the commute is a bit much, but being in Malad is convenient for a lot of things. The neighbors are alright, mostly other small offices and shops around. I don't have a big staff or a corporate office with glass walls. It's more of a practical place. I spend most of my time on the computer or on the phone. Sometimes people drop by to drop off documents or just to talk about a project. It’s a bit cramped when more than two people are inside, but it works for me. I’ve lived in this city all my life, so I’m used to the pace. You just have to keep moving. I don’t spend money on big ads. I just do the work and people seem to find me. The building is older but it’s sturdy. I keep my own hours mostly, though I’m usually there when the sun is up. It’s just a simple life and a simple way of working. Nothing more to it than that. I try to stay organized but my desk is usually covered in notebooks. It's how I know I'm actually getting things finished.
