Nikhil Comforts

We operate out of Parasnath Dube Chawl in Thakur Nagar. It’s room 5/6. If you know Mumbai, you know how these spaces are. It’s tight and it’s always busy. We call it Nikhil Comforts, but it’s really just us working hard in a small room. There’s always the sound of the city outside—trains, traffic, and people. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly focusing on keeping things running for our clients. The air in the chawl is thick, especially during the monsoon when everything feels damp. We have tools stacked up against the walls and a small table where we do the paperwork. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We don’t have a website or a big advertising budget. People in Thakur Nagar know us because they see us out working every day. We’re usually tired by the end of the shift, but that’s just the life of a worker in Mumbai. We don't try to make the place look like something it's not. It's a workspace for real people. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or the cricket scores. It’s a simple, honest business. We just try to do right by the people who hire us. Some mornings we start before the sun is even fully up to beat the rush.
