We are located at number 15 in Samta Chawl, right behind the police station in Vikhroli West. It’s in the Uday Nagar area, just off LBS Road. If you know where Dr. Angane’s place is, we are very close to that. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and being near the police station means there is always something happening on the street. Our space is small and tucked into the chawl, which is just the way things are in this part of the city. We’ve been here for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a maze to find us the first time, but once you know the landmarks, it’s easy. The room is packed with whatever we need for the day, and it can feel a bit cramped when everyone is in at once. There’s no fancy air conditioning in every corner, just a couple of fans keeping the air moving. We share the space with the sounds of the neighborhood—kids playing, people talking, and the distant hum of traffic from LBS Road. It’s an honest place. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the address and our name. Most of our neighbors know us well. We grab tea from the stall around the corner and spend our hours getting through the work. It’s not a polished corporate office, but it works for what Nikhil Comforts needs to do every day in Vikhroli.
