Newton Chemicals

Newton Chemicals is based out of Flat No 5 in the Om Satyadeep Buildi over in Juhu. It’s a quiet building most of the time, though you can hear the city noise if the windows are open. We spend a lot of time on the phone or filling out various forms for the orders. The office has these old wooden desks and a couple of filing cabinets that have seen better days. It isn’t some fancy high-rise office; it’s just where we do our business. Most of the work involves talking to suppliers and making sure the inventory lists are correct. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost trying to find the flat, so we have to go down and meet them at the gate. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running constantly. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make coffee. Most of the people living in the building are used to us being here by now. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner of the desk. There’s a nice view of the street from the balcony, which is where we go when we need a break from looking at the computer screen. It’s a steady routine. We show up, handle the logistics, and go home. Juhu is a busy area but our little corner is usually quite calm and we like it that way.
