New Yorker Restaurant

You can find us at 25, Fulchand Niwas, right by Girgaon Chowpatty. We are pretty close to Ideal Restaurant and the whole Chowpatty Seaface area. It’s a famous part of Mumbai, and we’ve seen it change a lot over the years. New Yorker Restaurant is a place where you can just show up in your casual clothes. We get a lot of families coming from the beach with sand on their shoes. It’s a lively spot, especially in the evenings when the sun goes down. The restaurant isn't very large, so it can get a bit cramped when it's busy. We try to move things along so nobody is waiting too long on the sidewalk. Our menu is a mix of stuff people like to eat when they are out for a treat. We don't use any fancy words to describe our food. It's just what it is. The waiters have been here a long time and they know how to handle the Mumbai rush. Sometimes it gets loud with everyone talking at once, but that's just the atmosphere of the city. We’re glad to be part of the seaface. It’s a good place to watch the world go by while having something to eat. Nothing corporate about us, just a local restaurant trying to keep the customers happy and the tables turning. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but the sea breeze helps once you step outside.
