New Standard Meter

We are based in Shop No 10 over in the Vitt Bhatti area of Goregaon East. It is right near Rambal, which is a busy little pocket of the neighborhood. New Standard Meter is what the old sign says above our door, even if the blue paint is peeling a bit on the edges these days. We work with various types of meters and measuring tools. It is a very specific kind of business to be in. The shop is full of small metal components and various pieces of testing equipment. It smells a bit like oil and old dust in here, but we have grown to not mind it at all. We have a couple of heavy workbenches that have seen much better days. They are deeply scratched and stained from years and years of constant use. We do not have a fancy website or a dedicated sales team to find customers. If you want something, you usually just walk in and ask us directly. Goregaon East has changed a lot over the last decade, with new buildings going up everywhere, but this little corner of ours feels mostly the same. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for a long time. We drink tea from the small stall nearby and chat with the other shopkeepers when things aren't too busy. There isn't any corporate polish here. We are just a local business.
