New Shakti Roadlines

New Shakti Roadlines operates out of Plot No 43/29, specifically at 85 on the ground floor near Raja Masjid. This is on the 6th Main in the Amarjyothi Layout, over in the West Wing. It’s right by the Intermediate Ring Road, so we see a lot of trucks passing through at all hours of the day and night. Our office isn't much to look at, just some old chairs, a big wooden desk for the ledgers, and a lot of phone lines that never seem to stop ringing. We deal with drivers coming in and out, checking their papers and making sure things are moving the way they should. The ground floor spot is good because it’s easy for the guys to stop their big rigs nearby and run in for a minute to get their signatures. It gets pretty loud with the traffic from the Ring Road, and the dust from the road is a constant battle for whoever is sitting near the door. We usually have a few maps pinned to the wall that have seen better days and some faded calendars. There’s no big corporate logo or anything like that on the outside, just the name painted so people know they’re at the right plot. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting followed by a lot of rushing around when a load finally arrives. We’ve been based in this layout for a while, and the routine of the road is just how we live. We eat our lunch at our desks most days.
