New Mirror Printing Press

New Mirror Printing Press is located in Shop 16 of the Hasanabad Building in Mazgaon. This part of the city has a lot of history, and our shop feels like it has been part of it for a while. We are on Plot No 293 in Phase Iv of the 4th Main road. The smell of ink is the first thing you notice when you walk inside. It stays on your clothes and your skin, but we don't mind it anymore. We have a couple of printing machines that make a lot of rhythmic thumping noises when they are running. It can get quite loud, so we have to raise our voices to hear each other. There are stacks of paper everywhere—white, colored, thick, and thin. We do a lot of small jobs for the local businesses around Mazgaon, like cards and flyers. The space is a bit tight because of all the equipment, and you have to be careful where you step so you don't trip over a box of envelopes. The building itself is old, with high ceilings and heavy doors. We usually have the doors open to let some air in while we work. It’s a messy job, and our aprons are always stained with different colors, but there is something good about seeing the finished pages come off the press at the end of a long day.
