New India Electronics

We set up New India Electronics over in Panvel, at shop number 4. It’s a straightforward place where we deal with all kinds of gadgets. Mainly, we see a lot of televisions and small home appliances coming through the door. Some need a new fuse, others have more complicated circuit issues. We have a workbench in the back with soldering irons and various tools scattered about. It’s usually a bit of a mess, but there’s a method to it. We’ve lived in Panvel for a long time, so we know most of the families who live on this street. They bring their broken mixers or fans to us instead of buying new ones. It makes sense to fix things if you can. The shop isn't very big, so we don't carry a huge stock of new items, just the things people need most often. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we have to sit out front and wait for it to come back on. It gives us a chance to talk to the other shop owners. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. It's just a local business where you can get your electronics looked at without a lot of fuss. We tell people what’s wrong and how much it’ll cost. If it’s not worth fixing, we’re honest about that too. That’s just how we operate.
