New Heros Restaurant

You can find New Heros Restaurant in the Ishwardas Mansion building over on Gamdevi Road. We are pretty close to Nana Chowk and Grant Road station, so it is a very busy part of Mumbai to be in. The restaurant has been here for a long time, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We aren't a big chain or a fancy bistro. We are just a local place where you can get a quick meal without spending too much. The space inside is a bit tight, but that is normal for Grant Road. We have wooden tables and the walls have stayed the same for years. Most of our customers are people working in the nearby shops or folks who live in the old buildings around here. My morning usually starts with checking the supplies and making sure the stove is ready for the lunch rush. It gets very hot in the kitchen, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just cook food and serve it to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we run out of things if it is a busy day, but we try to keep the basics ready. It's an honest living and we know most of our regular customers by their first names. If you are around Nana Chowk, you've probably walked past us a hundred times without even noticing.
