New Grand Restaurant

We are located in Ibrahim Mansion on M Shaukat Ali Road in the Grant Road area. It is right next to Novelty Cinema, so we see a lot of people coming by after the movies. The street outside is always crowded and noisy, which is just part of living in Mumbai. Our restaurant is not very big and the tables are close together. We don't have air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that stay on all day. The walls are a bit plain and could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. We focus on getting the food out to the tables while it is still hot. The kitchen is in the back and it gets really warm in there during the dinner rush. We don't do any fancy plating or use expensive dishes. It is just regular food for regular people working or living around Grant Road. Our workers have been here a long time and they know the routine. We don't have a website or do any advertising. Most people just walk in because they are nearby. Sometimes the door stays open to let some air in, so you can hear all the cars and horns from the street. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest little place. We stay open late into the night because that is when the area is most alive. If you want a simple meal without any fuss, we are here.
