New Black Beauty Collection

Our shop is called New Black Beauty Collection and you can find us at Shop No 5 in Chaitanya Nagar, which is part of the Powai area in Mumbai. We are located right in the IIT Market, so there is always a lot of energy around because of the students and the families living nearby. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep it filled with a variety of items that people in the neighborhood are looking for. It’s not like those massive showrooms in the big malls; it’s a much more local, hands-on kind of place. People usually stop by while they are doing their other shopping in the market, maybe grabbing something for themselves or a gift for someone else. The space is a bit tight because we have quite a lot of stock squeezed in, but that’s just how it is with Mumbai shops. We don't have any polished marketing strategy or a corporate mission statement. We just open the shutters every morning and help whoever walks in find what they need. Some days the market is packed and it’s a bit of a scramble, and other days it’s more relaxed and we can chat with the customers. It’s a very straightforward business. We like being part of the Powai community and seeing the familiar faces of the IIT residents and locals day after day. It’s just a simple shop in a busy market.
