New Bal Roadlines

New Bal Roadlines is based out of a small spot at 129/2367/7 in Vikhroli East. We are in the transport business, which mostly means we spend a lot of time looking at maps and talking to drivers on their mobile phones. We don't have a fancy corporate headquarters, just a small room where we keep the keys and the logbooks. Outside, there’s usually a truck or two being checked over before a long trip. We mostly move commercial goods for other small businesses—things like sacks of grain, crates of parts, or construction materials. My father started this with just one truck, and we’ve kept it going the same way, focusing on just getting the job done without any fuss. Vikhroli East is a good place for us because we can get onto the main roads fairly quickly. Most of our day is spent calculating fuel costs and making sure the tires are in good shape. It’s a lot of waiting for the phone to ring with a new load and then figuring out which driver is available to take it. We don't have any flashy slogans or a big sales team. It’s just honest, hard work moving things from one place to another. Sometimes a truck breaks down and we have to spend the night figuring out how to fix it, but that’s part of the life. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the routes well.
