Neelkanth

Our shop is over in Dadar West, specifically Shop No. 12 in the B Wing of Jai Hanuman Nagar. It’s an S.R.A. building, so it’s a very local, lived-in kind of place. We are right across from the New Flower Marg on Senapati Bapat Marg. If you know Dadar, you know how crazy the flower market gets in the early morning. We usually open up once the main rush of the trucks has died down. The space inside is quite small, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need on the shelves. It’s a Ground Floor unit, which makes it easy for people to just pop their heads in. We deal with a lot of regular customers who live in the building or nearby. There is always a bit of a breeze coming off the main road, but it brings the dust with it too. We keep a broom handy and sweep the floor a few times a day. Neelkanth isn't a fancy name or a fancy place. We just sell what people need and keep moving. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute. The walls are painted a simple white, and we have a few old calendars hanging up. It’s a busy part of the city, and we are just one small part of it. Finding us is easy if you just look for the B Wing entrance near the flower stalls.
