Nayar Samaj Hall

The Nayar Samaj Hall is in Dadar East at number 15 in the Tutorial Market area. We are located behind the Swaminarayan Mandir and not too far from the Pritam Hotel. This hall is a simple community space that has been around for a long time. It is used for all kinds of local events like small weddings, family functions, or meetings. It is not a luxury venue with fancy carpets. It is just a big room with a stage and some chairs where people can gather. We deal with the bookings ourselves, from the dates to the cleaning. The market outside is always very busy and loud, which is just part of being in this section of Mumbai. Once people are inside the hall, they focus on their own event. We don't have any corporate offices or big advertising budgets. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or friends who have used the hall before. We try to keep the fans and lights in good working order. Sometimes the walls get scuffed when people are moving things around, so we try to paint over the marks when we have a gap between bookings. It is a humble place that serves the people in the Dadar neighborhood. We have seen many generations of families celebrate their milestones here. It is just a practical space for the community to use when they need a place to meet.
