Our shop is located right at the front of R C Barrack No 1 in Chembur. We are directly across from Inlack Hospital, so it’s pretty easy to find us if you’re in that part of town. It’s just Shop Number 1, a small space that we’ve made our own over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a counter where we talk to people. We deal with various bits and pieces that locals need for their homes or small businesses. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are inside at once, but we make it work somehow. The area stays pretty active because of the hospital across the road. We see a lot of people walking by all day long, especially in the mornings. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when things are slow and watch the traffic. We don't have a website or anything like that, just this physical shop where we show up every morning. We do the work ourselves and don't really hire outside help for the daily tasks. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it hasn’t been a priority lately with everything else going on. We’re just focused on making sure we have what people are looking for when they step inside. Chembur is a busy place, and we’re glad to have our little corner here among the neighbors. It feels like home to us now.
