We are located at Plot 21 K 10 on Road 4 in Shivajinagar, over in Govandi. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren’t used to the turns. The area is always buzzing with people working or moving goods. Our place is where we do all the stitching and creating. It isn't a showroom; it's more of a workspace where the machines are always humming. There’s usually thread all over the floor by the end of the day, no matter how much we sweep. We spend most of our hours bent over the tables, making sure the seams are straight and the patterns are right. The air smells like oil from the sewing machines and steam from the iron. It’s not the quietest place to be, but we like the rhythm of it. We get the fabric in big rolls and it takes up a lot of the floor space until we start cutting. Sometimes the rain makes the roof loud, but it keeps us cool. We don’t have many visitors except for the delivery guys and the occasional neighbor stopping by to borrow a tool. It’s a tough environment but it’s our daily life. We just try to get the work done on time and get home before it gets too late. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
