Nawab Restaurant

Nawab Restaurant is located in the Mahim Trust Building on 2nd Masjid Street in Bhendi Bazar. We are right on I R Road, and if you look across the street, you will see the Mandvi Post Office. This part of Mumbai, the 400003 area, is incredibly busy. There is constant movement, people hauling goods, and the sound of the city never really stops. Our restaurant has been a part of this landscape for a long time. It’s a simple setup inside the old building. The walls have some history and the furniture is plain and functional. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone telling us how to run things. It’s just a small team of us working the floor and the kitchen. We see all kinds of people, from workers taking a quick break to families who have lived in Bhendi Bazar for generations. The air is always filled with the smell of spices and the humidity of the city. Sometimes it gets a little cramped when the lunch rush comes in, and we have to hustle to keep up. We don’t bother with promotional talk or trying to sound fancy. We are just a local restaurant doing our daily work. People know us because we’ve been here on the same street for so long. It’s a practical place for a meal, and we just try to keep the doors open and the food ready.
