Navshakti Family Restaurant

We’ve been running things here at Navshakti Family Restaurant for a while now. You can find us in Chembur East, right at Subhash Chowk on Gurukul Road. We are part of the Vishrut Society building. It’s a pretty busy spot because the Chembur Colony bus depot is right across the street. We see a lot of people rushing to catch their buses or coming home after a long day of work. The restaurant is just a simple place for families to sit down. We don’t have fancy decorations or a big corporate team. It’s just us and a few staff members making sure the tables are clean and the food goes out. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the street noise comes in, but that’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We’ve got regular tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we started, but we are still here in the same corner. People usually come in for a quick meal or to pack something for home. It gets really crowded during the lunch hour, so you might have to wait a minute for a seat. We don’t do any big advertising. Most of our customers are just locals from the society or people who pass by the depot every day. We just focus on the daily routine and keeping the kitchen moving.
