Navadiya Traders

We are located in Shop No. 1 of the Kalyanji Uka Building. That is at number 7/9 on Modi Street, right in the Fort area. It is an old part of town, very crowded and full of history. Navadiya Traders has been here for a long time. The building itself has seen better days, but it has a lot of character. We trade in various goods, mostly things for other businesses nearby. It is a small shop, so we have to use every inch of space, even the ceiling hooks for some items. I have been working here since I was a teenager. Now I run the place. It is loud out on Modi Street with all the carts and people rushing around. We keep the fans going all day to stay cool. Sometimes the light flickers but we just ignore it and keep working. We do not do any fancy advertising. If you need something, you come in and ask. We have a lot of regular clients who have been buying from us for decades. It is about trust more than anything else. We do not have a corporate office or a board of directors. It is just us behind the counter. We take our lunch breaks together when things quiet down in the afternoon. It is a simple way to do business in a busy city. Being in Fort means we are at the heart of everything, and we like it that way despite the noise.
