Nav Bharat Industries

Nav Bharat Industries is tucked away in Kandivali West at Plot 35-D. It’s part of the Govt Industrial Estate, near Char. It’s a noisy place with machines running all day. We’ve been here since the industrial estate was much quieter. Now there’s a lot of traffic and people moving about. We do industrial work, mostly manufacturing parts and things that other businesses need. The floor is always covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings. We wear old clothes because things get dirty fast. My father started this back in the day and I took over. We have a few steady workers who have been with us for ten years or more. We eat lunch together on the back bench. It’s not a corporate office. There’s no AC in the main area, just big fans that move the hot air around. We deal with a lot of local vendors and some bigger shops too. Dealing with the paperwork is the hardest part. The machines we use are old but they still work fine if you treat them right. You can find us easily if you know the estate layout. Just look for the big blue door. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just talk to people face to face. That’s how we like to handle our business. Sometimes we stay late when a machine breaks down, just to make sure we don't fall behind. It's hard work but it keeps us going.
