National Tempo House

National Tempo House is a bit of a name to live up to. We are based out of Shop No 4, Building No 1 in the Navji area, specifically near Damaji Rao Park on Ajwa Road in Vadodara. I know some people get confused because of the Grant Road mention in our old records, but this is where we do our daily work now. We handle things related to tempos and transport vehicles. It’s a lot of heavy metal and engine parts. The park nearby is nice for a bit of green, but mostly we are looking at the pavement and the underside of trucks. It’s a practical business. We get drivers coming in from all over, some tired from long trips, looking for a specific part so they can get back on the highway. We drink a lot of tea while we talk shop. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady. The shop gets dusty because of the road traffic, so we’re always wiping things down. We don’t have a big marketing team. Most of our customers come because they heard from a friend that we had a part they couldn't find elsewhere. We just focus on the task in front of us. Whether it’s a bolt or a whole engine component, we treat it the same. It’s just work. We keep our doors open and try to help the drivers get back to their routes as fast as we can.
