National Institute Of Management

We are located in Santacruz E at Room No 4 in Majid Mirza Chawl. This is within Prabhat Colony. The National Institute Of Management has been here for some time now. Being in a chawl means we are right in the middle of a very lively community. It’s not a large space—just one room where we do everything. We have our desks, our filing cabinets, and our chairs all squeezed in together. It gets a bit loud during the day with the sounds of the colony, but we don't mind it much. It’s just the way things are here in Mumbai. The room is simple with a high ceiling and a single fan that works hard to keep us cool. We don't have any fancy signage outside, just the room number. Most of our work involves keeping the records straight and handling the mail that comes for the institute. We drink tea from the stall around the corner and just get on with our tasks. It’s a very humble setup compared to some of the big offices in the city. There’s no corporate polish here, just some people working in a small room. We have to be very organized because there isn't much space to waste. If you’re looking for Prabhat Colony, we are just a short walk from the station. It’s a plain and practical place to be. We just keep our heads down and work.
