Nasa Chemicals

Our place, Nasa Chemicals, is located right in the heart of the Kalbadevi Iron Market. Specifically, we’re in Sector 29 D, Room Number 9 on the 2nd Floor of the Naray building. It’s a bit of a climb up those stairs, and they are usually quite dusty from all the trade going on downstairs. Being in the chemical business in such a crowded market means we are always surrounded by the smells of industrial goods. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just drums, containers, and paperwork piled up on old desks. The market is a maze of narrow lanes and heavy trucks, so getting stuff delivered is always a bit of a headache. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to transporters. It’s a gritty part of town, not really for tourists. We handle various powders and liquids that people need for their factories or workshops. It's not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. The ceiling fans in the office never seem to go fast enough in October. We’ve been here for years, watching the market change but also stay exactly the same. You get used to the noise of the carts on the cobblestones below. We just focus on getting the right items to the people who need them without too much fuss. It takes a lot of patience to work here every day.
