Narendra Brothers Transport Service has been around Chembur for a good while now. We are located at Shop No 1 in the Shivnum Building, which is right across from Sita Estate. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the traffic coming through this part of town every single day. Our daily life involves a lot of phone calls and checking on where the trucks are at any given hour. We started out small with just a couple of vehicles, and it’s mostly just us family members and some hired drivers keeping things moving along. The office isn't anything fancy, just a simple place to keep the logbooks and grab a tea while we wait for the next load to be ready for pickup. Chembur can be a tough place to navigate during the morning rush hour, but we know the shortcuts by now. Most of our days are spent talking to clients about delivery times and making sure the drivers have what they need for the road. We don't really do the big fancy advertising stuff you see from the huge logistics companies. It’s more about word of mouth and people seeing our name on the side of the trucks near Sita Estate. Sometimes the rain makes things slow, or a truck gets a flat, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It's honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until quite late at night. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our shop stays the same.
