Nandu Plastics

Nandu Plastics is right on the ground floor of Narsey House, which is at number 179. We are very close to Samu Masjid, so we hear the calls for prayer throughout the day. The area is always crowded with people and carts moving back and forth. Our shop is filled with all kinds of plastic items. You can barely see the back wall because of how we have to stack things to make them fit. It’s a small space, but we make use of every inch of it. The floor is concrete and can get a bit dusty from the street outside. People come in from the neighborhood looking for specific parts or just everyday household things made of plastic. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just us and the goods we sell. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people are in the shop at once, and we have to squeeze past each other. Narsey House is an old building, and it has a lot of character. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a good place to be if you like being in the middle of everything. We keep the doors open to let some air in, even if it brings in the noise. It’s just a normal day for us at number 179. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else because this place has become a second home for all of us over the years.
