Nandini Corporation

Nandini Corporation is located on the first floor of number 21 on Kika Street. If you know Gulalwadi, you know it’s a very tight area with lots of small businesses packed together. We’ve been here for a long time, dealing with hardware and various metal parts that people need for construction or repairs. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so it can be a struggle if we're moving heavy boxes around. The office is basically just a room filled with shelves and a couple of desks where we keep the ledgers. We don't have a lot of space for anything fancy. Most of our days are spent checking orders and making sure we have enough stock for the regulars who come in. It gets pretty hot in the summer, and the ceiling fans don't always do much, but we stay busy. Kika Street is always full of people and carts, so there’s a constant buzz of noise coming up from the window. We aren't a big company with many branches; we just focus on this one spot. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us and the people we serve. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, so it feels like a real community. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in the middle of all the Gulalwadi chaos. There is always something that needs to be sorted or counted.
