Nanda Nursery Garden

Nanda Nursery Garden is where we spend our time in Dahisar West. Our spot is on the 4th Cross, right behind the Srinivasa Te landmark. If you can find that, you can find us easily. It is mostly just dirt, water, and plants every day. We do not have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. It is just a garden where things grow and we look after them. Some days the weather is really dry and we have to spend hours with the water hose. Other times, the rain does the job for us and we just watch. Plants don't care about regular office hours, so we are usually here quite early to check on everything. It can be hard work on your back, bending over all day to move heavy pots or check the soil quality. People from around the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to look at the green leaves because the rest of the street is so busy and dusty. We have a small shed where we keep our tools and bags of soil. It smells like wet earth most of the time, which I think is much better than smelling the car fumes from the main road. We don't use any big fancy machines, just our own hands and some basic gardening tools. It’s a simple life back here behind the Srinivasa Te. We are just a few people who know which plants need shade and which ones like the sun. We have been in this corner for a long time.
