Our unit is 115 and we are based on the 11th floor of the Karmakshetra building in Sion. The full address is 9C-2, and we are right on Camharbanslal Road near the GTB Nagar area and Antop Hill. Being up on the 11th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the street, though the elevator can be slow during the lunch hour. We started Namastang Lifestyle Private Limited to focus on everyday wear and we have been working from this spot for a bit. It’s a decent sized space but we have a lot of samples and paperwork everywhere. We aren't big on decorations; we just have what we need to get through the day's work. Sion is a good middle point for us to reach different parts of Mumbai, which helps when we need to meet people or pick up supplies. Our team is small, and we mostly just handle the design and the management side of things from here. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We don't spend money on fancy marketing people. We just talk to our customers directly and try to make things that people would actually want to wear. It is a practical way of doing things and it seems to work for us. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, making sure each order is handled correctly without any fuss. It isn't always easy but it is what we do.
