Nair Hospital Tnmc

Nair Hospital Tnmc is a big part of the Mumbai Central landscape. Our offices and certain departments are located on the second floor of the College Building. It’s a very busy area because it combines the hospital side of things with the medical college. You see a lot of young doctors-to-be walking around, often looking a bit stressed out from their studies. The building is an old one, and you can feel the history when you walk through the corridors. It’s right in the heart of the city, so the sounds of Mumbai Central—the trains, the traffic, the people—are always present. On the second floor, things are always moving. Whether it’s staff handling paperwork or students going to a lab, there’s rarely a still moment. We don’t have much in the way of fancy signage or a polished look. It’s a functional space that has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. The walls are lined with notices and the floors are well-trodden. Getting here can be a bit of a walk from the main gate, but it’s a central part of the campus. Most people who work here have been around for a long time and know every corner of the building. It’s a place with a lot of character and a lot of daily challenges, but we just keep going and doing what needs to be done. It is not always perfect or quiet, but it is an honest place where people work hard.
