Nagpal Fish Fry Restaurant is over in J B Nagar, specifically at Shop 1/A in the Akal Society on Tarun Bharat Road. We’re right near the J B Circle in Andheri East, which is a really busy spot in Mumbai. This is more of a restaurant setup than just a tiny stall, so people can actually sit down and eat their meal properly. We focus mostly on fish, frying it up the way people around here like it. The kitchen is always busy, especially in the evenings when the office crowd from Andheri starts heading home. Being near the circle means there is always the sound of horns and traffic, but inside we just focus on the cooking. We’ve put in a lot of hours here over the years to keep the place going. It’s a family-run kind of vibe where we do most of the work ourselves. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that; we just learned by doing it every day. The restaurant isn't very big, but we make it work with the space we have. We like seeing the same faces coming back week after week. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean and the food fresh, but it’s a good living. If you’re walking past J B Circle and you’re hungry for fish, you can’t really miss us. We’re just a local spot for a simple meal. We have been here a long time and hope to stay.
